Sunset Chaser is a pet-friendly beach cottage with a pool that's a short walk to the Delaware Bay beach and Norbury's Landing, and a short drive to Cape May and Wildwood. Escape to a private home on a quiet, dead-end street in the residential community of Del Haven, where the bikes outnumber the cars, the beach is never crowded, and the sunsets are always spectacular. No big hotels, no boardwalk, no noise, no traffic, and nothing but seagrass lining the street as you walk to the beach.


The Sunset Chaser Vibe


Beachy, obvs. A heavy dose of mid-century/retro, somewhat accidentally. A dash of hipster doofus. Anything but cliché. Crazy comfortable (because not even kids want to sleep in bunks). The goal was to create a cool place with something around every corner that grabs your eye and makes you smile. And a pool. You can never go wrong with a pool. The pool rules.

Sunset Chaser is a beautiful house to stay in. You are 15-20 min from the town of Cape May. Around the corner from Sunset Chaser is a beautiful beach to watch the sunset. Nearby (5min) away you have a nice breakfast/lunch spot, Delis and ice cream shops. Having the pool in the backyard is a life saver, we used it everyday and one day spent the whole day in the pool. - Neal F.

The house is clean, well furnished and very comfortable. The pool is amazing to keep the kids busy after a great day at the beach. The location is very convenient, approx 20 min from Cape May beach and same for Wildwood. And for those who only want to read on the beach, there is the bay at a walking distance. OUR STORY

There aren't many hidden gems along the water in New Jersey, but the bay side of Cape May County still qualifies. The McKelvey family fell so hard for Villas and Del Haven during a family vacation that they decided to buy a little cottage close to the bay. Scott, Kelly, Caitlin, and Cassidy hope you'll enjoy Sunset Chaser as much as they do! Oh, and about the name...


Mother Nature puts on a show over the Delaware Bay every night. The McKelveys wrapped up most nights of their summer vacation on the bay beach watching the sunset and taking pictures. While at Cape May Beach, they saw a pod of dolphins chase their prey into the surf. A dark shadow of fish stretched at least a quarter mile, feasted upon by dolphins no more than 50 yards from the beach. In all their years visiting Jersey Shore beaches, Scott and Kelly had never seen anything like it.
